Ready, set go!
smile---smile at everyone---smiling cause other people to be happy for no reason. Talk to strangers (as long as you are over 14 years old) and make friends with everyone. Let's all be happy for no reason!!

Mars is coming and is going to be visible very soon....no telescope necessary. Let's look at the nite sky it is amazing.

Work---Yikes! I have had an underlying feel of evil lately at work and for good cause. Can't go into detail here but suffice it to say that God is bigger then us and he resides in us! I can use your prayers in this matter.

My wife---my gosh is she not awesome. I love her soooo much and she is the single most important person in my life---love's like that kiddies---keep it real!

Camp is coming and I will not be posting for an entire week....by the overwhelming amount of comments I am receiving I am sure you folks won't miss me but in case you do keep this in mind---This is my personal mission statement:

If I can do that with my 30,000 odd days here...then I have done something!
That's purse unadulterated wisdom from heaven folks---take it to heart!

Mondays are NOT evil....by default they get a bad rap....Sure they can be ruff & tuff but they can also be cool.....Let's all take a step back and take another look at Mondays. Let's be nice to Monday, give it some love maybe even tickle it a little bit.

Today, being a Monday is a true test.....read my bible today just to make sure it got a good start (Monday's need all the help they can get!). Reading Philippians in prep for a class this Wed....good stuff as is LIFE!

Yes, it is August 1st the first day that leads to the end of summertime for so many of our youth. Frankly I can't wait to see snow again.....I love snow (especially on Mondays). I don't mind the heat just the humidity which I am told by the friendly neighborhood weather woman is going to return....as long as it goes away by the time we get to camp.

It is the perfect afternoon (Sunday) here in sunny, southern, New Jersey.
Had an awesome time at worship....what a great lesson we had. It is awesome when all cylinders click.
So I went bowling last nite....something I had not done for quite some time (my scores reflected it). At least I did break a hundred in both games we played. Now here is the thing....have you folks been bowling @ nite in the last 2-3 years? If you have then you KNOW what I am talking about....the phenomenon sweeping across our great nation....regular bowling alleys are boarding up due to the new and improved bowlng sensation----Cosmic Bowling....whew!! I mean are you ready for some bowling?! This is not for everybody. I almost could not handle it...seriously! The lights, sound and fog machines all working in tandemn....the blinking lights and glow-in-the dark things on the table....you might get an idea of what I am talking about by checking out this website http://www.bowlernet.com/streamwood/bbscosmic2.htm

On another note....a good kid, someone who I would consider a good friend from camp...yet she is only about 4,380 days old...(for my age see my 1st post) was baptized yesterday AM. As I was driving to camp....I knew it. I felt it....Alright Jessica!!!!
Well....the day is young gonna have a big pesto dinner tonight w/some fam and going to go and garden the afternoon away....(think I am going to take picture of the rock garden and post it here) Till my next post ttyl. Tater

Day II

alright already....just two people commented on my blog the 1st day and one of them was my son!!

It's Friday and awesome....what started out as great day, then took a crazy turn then rebounded to the positive keeps my head spinning....work will do that to you, you know.
Looks like Ultimate Frisbee with the Youth Group 2nite. Can't wait....counting the minutes.

My stores DID NOT make the Best of Philly http://www.phillymag.com/ issue AGAIN! What's a guy gotta do to be recognized for the best place to buy a Liberty Bell---we do have the largest selection with the best prices.

More random thoughts.....I cannot wait to see the "gorgeous" one 2nite....she is awesome!!
I want to know why I keep standing in God's way especailly since I read 1 John 4:4 all week. Him that is in us is greater then all!

I am thinking of that Police song right now.....Bring on the nite....I couldn't stand another of hour of daylight....bring on the nite....

day one

actually this is not day one but day 15,483 of my life... and it has been a good one....being that I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world! So how are all the peeps 2day? The humidity has broken here in jersey and thank the good Lord for that 'cause I was trying to find the good in the humidity and it was hard....amybe the good was that we are blessed to have deodorant??!! hmmmm....that works. Well enjoy the day 'cross the states and the universe for that matter....there are people in space today, thoguth you might like to know that.

BREAKING NEWS!

So a horse & carriage just ran into our building at 6th & Chestnut. A cry of "loose horse" resonated thru the Philadelphia police radios and chaos erupted in a one block range. Scattered injuries were reported but no one sought medical attention 'cept the horse who is reported to be fine albeit some hyperventilating and cuts/scrapes/bruises.
Apparently the carriage driver was not paying attention and the horse must have reacted nervously to something and ran up the curb running into the mutli-story Public Ledger Building (where I work) and after hearing a big bang/scrape I peered out the window only to see a riderless carriage w/o a horse but after standing tippee toe I saw that the horse was on the ground struggling to rise up, then it got to it's feet and ran off of the sidewalk and barreled down Chestnut St the wrong way (thank goodness no cars were coming) the horse got to 7th St and turned right which is good since it is a one way street, running the way the horse turned, as the horse turned the carriage took out the traffic lite, pole and all.....it was then noticed that the horse, for no reason, stopped prior to reaching Market St.

Now think of this....this was a common occurrence just over 100 years ago....
