i can't stop there...

What we have is precious (see previous post), life, on earth, is but a gift. Use it wisely. Take the time you have been granted (realize it has been granted) and use it for a purpose greater then you. I garden, I love music and I enjoy good food and watch cool movies, but what is there, here, that I can do but tell you of Him? He is my Lord, He is my rock...make Him your rock. He will allow you to stand firm. He will take your worries and cast them to the wind. Live life for the one who gave His life for you to live. There is no other way. There is no other road to follow, all other roads are dead ends. Think about it.

breaking nite

i recently read a book called Randon Families; basically about real people growing up in the Bronx. There was nothing earth shattering about the book and it was an ok read...I guess what struck me is how we are a product of our environment. The people in this book were poor, really poor and yet they did not ever talking about being poor...they tried to do everything we do and they did not always confront the faults of life. there was a phrase used in the book: breaking the nite, that was when you stayed up all nite...you broke it, the nite. We, as a culture do not confront the REAL issues. We do not take responsibility for our actions...we need to. Look in the mirror and when you leave it...know who you are. I know who I am and I do not always like who I am. Ask yourself, who am I? What have you done to change the world? I guess I cannot write this w/o telling you who I am. I am, but an imperfect man, but a man nonetheless. I have accomplished little in the eyes of man and society, but accomplished much for Him whom I am bound. He knows me and He forgives me. Forgiveness you ask? For who for what? For me. My impurities are many and sometimes overcome me. It is 1:19AM and although I will not "break the nite", tonite, I will look at the stars and the darkness of the sky. When daylight comes, like my impurities, I will have new opportunites and a newness with Him who loves me. He also loves you. He loves you so much. He wants to have you pursue Him. What are you waiting for? Look for Him, feel Him, He is there...read about Him...try to understand Him. Stop and think....there are no answers anywhere, but in His word. Nothing has changed in this world with the way of people. When will we "get it".
The time is now, not later, later is to late. Don't wait to break the nite, don't wait to discover Him. The time hs come...look for Him, you will see.

that is today (june 19) and tomorrow is just another numbered day....use them wisely. they are very precious.

today is absolutely PRICELESS, nothing is more valuable then right now.

live life like that, but with a pure heart.

It is a wicked hard-core scorcher in Philly today....summer is here even though the official start date is tomorrow. Grab the beach blanket and the frisbee...smile @ someone---ANYONE

I am going to see them...no matter what. If $$$ is an issue let me know...it promises to be a GREAT show. If you like a "good" game...like to see a band leave it on the floor...come.

We got the Scion XB...WE love it...we meaning; Tate, Mar, Aryn & Tails...Seaner doesn't live here, but we do value his opinion. Sean doesn't like it and again....WE love it.
Economical, comfortable, fun, cute, yes, cute and it zips around and it was cheap. I have often said I would NEVER buy a BRAND NEW CAR again and here I have done it.

It has been a tough week campers...I have realized that I have, once again; taken on to much. Alas, it is the life I lead.
So...it is Saturday and I am just chillin' watchin' a bit of the World Cup and the USA is about to be slaughtered by the Italians. My prediction---Germany, nah....Brazil.

It's a busy and HOT weekend here in Jersey...hope the sun is shining wherever you are!
