winter??

Is it really winter? 2005 finished up as the warmest winter since we humans started keeping records. Here is what Nasa (yes, the space people) had to say....In descending order, the years with the highest global average annual temperatures were 2005, 1998, 2002, 2003 and 2004, NASA said in a statement.

Yeah, I think global warming IS taking place but I am not going to blog 'bout SUV's and central air (of which I have neither). I just miss my winter. :(
I love large quantities of ice, freezing rain, snow, wind car doors that are frozen shut, steps that are iced over and so on an so forth.
Why, you may ask?
Quite simple really...I like things that make people stop and change their normal routine....ice on your front steps certainly does that. I talk to more of my neighbors when we are all digging out of a snowstorm then any other day of the year.....

I miss my winter....

I'm with you. Scott and I don't disagree on much but I love winter and he hates it. Please give us some snow!!

yeah for cold winter days and nights where you can hibernate and take it easy and not have to go out for anything if you don't want to. Although I am glad it only lasts a while, because shen spring gets here it is very welcomed!

how can one disagree with global warming?

of course that's going on. I fear that my grandkids will have to move to Canada in order to have a continental climate. weird. scary.
