What was the first full album you ever purchased and what format was it in?
I had just bought my first ever stereo and with it I bought Steve Miller Band's Fly Like an Eagle....on 8-track....yes on 8-track. I can still sing it all word for word.

thriller. michael jackson. really. first album i ever bought. now, first album i can remember having... hmmm... i am pretty sure it was a Beatles greatest hits tape. it was white and the letters were blue. it was a tape, they were all cassettes, i also had, but didn't buy, love zone by billy ocean. i know. sorry, okay.
My first album was Bad Company Staight Shooter. I purchased it because my oldest brother told me that was a cool album. Never mind that I probably didn't know who the heck Bad Company was. I think he tricked me into buying an album he wanted. Creep.

yup, i remember having to argue the return because the cd was opened and I explained to the woman about the cursing; hey...this is for my daughter...then we got home, opened the jewel cd and she had the word penis somewhere on the liner notes...at that point i gave up.
